Indian & Snake

“You knew what I was when you picked me up.”
In the video you see an Indian who is out in solitude and he decides to climb up the mountain. He climbs all the way to the top of the mountain and finds a snake. The snake says he’s cold and needs help to get back down to the valley or else he will die. At first he refuses telling the snake no because he knows his kind and knows he will bite him if he gets close. But the snake doesn’t give up and ends up convincing him to take him down to the valley. The Indian tucks the snake in his shirt and takes him all the way down to the valley then sets the snake down gently. As soon as the snake is down it bites the Indian in the leg. The Indian then tells the snake why he did that for if he promised not to as long as he was brought down to the valley. The snake then says you knew what I was when you picked me up and slithers away. I feel as though the snake symbolizes all the bad decisions in life. For example, drugs and alcohol can be something that the snake represents because we know the harm yet we still choose to use them.
