Student Success Statement: Ezra T. Benson

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible"- Ezra T. Benson

This quote means that when you do something your not suppose to it doesn't ever make you feel good it's always the opposite. Usually when you do bad people think that it will feel right. Instead what really happens is that when you do bad it makes you feel bad. Same goes for when you do good some may think you will feel bad. Instead what really happens is that when you do good it makes you feel good. That is what this quote is basically saying.

There are many examples of when you do bad it will make you feel bad and not good. For example, you sneek out at night to go to a friends house without your parents permission. You end up feeling guilty the whole way there, later on your parents find out and you get into trouble. Another example would be your friends telling you to go steal something from a store with them. You don't feel like going but you                                                       still do, then you end up getting caught and it doesn't feel right in                                                           the end.

Student Success Statement: Abraham Lincoln

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad." -Abraham Lincoln

This quote means that the way you behave affects the way you feel. If you do good your going to feel good inside. When you do good it will not only make you feel good but it will make you a better person. If you do bad your going to feel bad on the outside. When you do bad it will not only make you feel bad but make you a bad person as well. That is what this quote is basically stating.

There are many examples of what doing good and bad will bring towards you. For example, if you make a nice comment towards someone it will make you feel kind exspecially when they thank you or complement you back. Another example would be cleaning your room without being told and your parents being proud of you. An example of doing bad would be you tripping someone on purpose and they getting hurt would make you regret it. Doing something bad can also be you making an inappropriate comment and you feeling bad for saying that after. In conclusion, doing good makes you feel good and doing bad makes you feel bad.

Student Success Statement: Boyd K. Packer

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."
-Boyd K. Packer

This means that the more we listen the more we are going to be able to do. When you are obedient you listen to what you are told to do. With being obedient you are given freedom to do things, like going out or rewards. When you are disobedient you don't listen to what you are told to do and this brings consequences. With being disobedient instead of gaining freedom, it gets taken away like being stuck at home or no rewards. That is the point that this quote is trying to get across to us.

There are many examples of what being obedient and disobedient can cause. For example, maybe you parents told you to clean your room so for doing this you are allowed to go out. Another example of being obedient would be you getting good grades and for that you get that new phone you have been wanting. An example of disobedient would be you not finishing your homework which would cause you to get a bad grade. Being disobedient can also be you not doing your chores which would cause you being grounded. In conclusion, being obedient can bring freedom in many ways unlike being disobedient.

Student Success Statement: Thomas S. Monson

"Obedience is the greatest test of life"
 -Thomas S. Monson
Obedience is the greatest test of life because you use it all the time. It is used alot and it is up to you whelther you obey or not. If you obey you are choosing the right. If you decide to disobey you are choosing the wrong. If you obey good will come out of what you did but if you disobey you will have to face the consequences for your actions.
obedience with soldiers  There are many examples of when obedience is put to the test and it depends on you whether you will succeed or not. For example, if your parents tell you to go clean you room being obedient would be if you go do it. If you were to have been disobedient you would of probably ending up grounded or you might have gotten your electronics taken away.       Another example would be your teacher assigning you pages from you workbook to work on, being obedient you would complete it and turn it in on time. If you were to have been disobedient you would have probably not got credits making your grade come down which would lead to other consequences. Base on this you should pretty much figure out that being obedient is probably the greatest test of life like stated by Thomas s. Monson. In conclusion, this will help you to become a better person with others when being told to do something.

9/11 Memorials

                         9/11 Memorials
It alll began on September 11, 2001, around 8:20a.m. a call was sent from a flight attendent saying that she thought they were being hijacked and already had two people on the flight stabbed. She keep saying how they were all of sudden getting lower and lower near a place with a lot of bulidings but didn't know exactly where. It wasn't until around 8:46a.m.that the same plane where the flight attendent was calling from crash into one of the twin towers killing people on the plane and people that where on the floors where the plane. Then around 9:03a.m. another plane was crashed into the second twin tower repeating the same effect as the first crash. People were now more alarmed then ever. But that was nothing compared to what happen around 9:59a.m. when the south twin tower began to collaspe to the ground making steets around there dusty and began to spread out due to the disater of the towers. It wasn't until 10:28a.m.when the last tragic thing happenedas the north tower collasped. There was so many people that had died in this frightening event. To me this was a very sad event and it seems unfair how all the people that died due to the fault of those who choose the wrong. "Education is the latch key to success in life"
-Gordon B. Hinkley
This quote is basically saying it's very important to have an education. For example, with out education you'll end up being stuck working at a place like McDonalds. If you get a education you can move on to get a career not a job. If you don't get an education you get stuck with a job you dislike in order to continue to pay you bills. If you don't get an education you can't get everything you want .This quote motivates you to get an education and                                                         continue on with your life instead of being
stuck in the same place forever.

Student Success Statement: Thomas A. Monson

"Decisions Determine Destiny"
-Thomas A. Monson
This quote is basically trying to say that the decisions you make in life will determine what will happen to you. For example you are told to come back at 10:00pm a day you decide to go to a party but instead you skip your curfew and come back at 11:00pm. That was your "desicion". That will end up "determining" your "destiny". Your destiny ends up being you grounded for 2 weeks and not allowed to go out since you broke the curfew. That is basically a example of how that quote works.I think this quote is so inspirational to people of all ages. It goes out to show that you should think of things before you do them. You shouldn't go around doing things without thinking because there will be consequences.
