This quote means that you won't be able to do much in life unless you sent your priorities straight. If you know exactly what you want to do and have goals set for yourself this will help you in life. If you have a plan for yourself you can easily follow that path to success. Knowing what you want to do in life will help you to be able to stay in the right track all the time. Setting goals for yourself will help you to better yourself in order to be successful in life.There are many examples of how important it is to set goals for yourself. For example, if you plan out what you want to do after high school you will know what you need to do in order to get where you want to be in the future. These goals will light up the way to success for you without you doing much. Another example would be you not planning out what you want to do after highschool and this causing you to do nothing in life. This is because you didn't set goals for your self in order to lead you to success. This is basically what I understood from this quote.
