This quote means that what you think is right isn't always going to work out with what everyone else is doing. It also means that what everyone is going around doing isn't always going to be right. That means that just because the number of people choosing the wrong is higher than those choosing the right doesn't make it right to do all of a sudden. If you know you are choosing the right then you should stand up against the crowd choosing the wrong. No matter what choosing the right in any situation will make you a better person than those who stand against you.There are many examples of how choosing the right will make you a better person than those trying to be "popular". For example, if you walk into a party and see a group smoking and they offer you to try. Just because a lot of them are smoking doesn't make smoking all of a sudden healthy. Another example would be you accepting to smoking and becoming addicted just because you wanted to be "popular". If you just stick up for what you believe in you will face no consequences in life unlike those who don't believe in choosing the right. In conclusion it is better to just choose the right.
